Try DuckDuckGo: A Search Engine With Amazing Features

Yes, Google is the number one search engine. Yes, google comes first in Alexa ranking globally and in the US. But that does not mean that other search engines don’t exist. Today, I bring to you DuckDuckGo, a search engine that has been around for a while that you probably have not noticed because of the influence Google have on you.

I am not trying to brush off Google (can I even do that?). DuckDuckGo actually has some cool features that are really going to astound you! Features that Google don’t have.

There are other amazing features besides the two I want to mention.

Password Generation: You want to generate a strong password? A password that is going to be really stuff for people to detect. Just do to DuckDuckGo and type “password 13” without the quotation marks if you want a 13 character password. You can always change the the number 13 to any number you want. This feature is a random password creator, that is to say that if you refresh the page, a different password will appear with the same number of characters that you indicated.

Shorten and expand links: You want to know the links to the  shortened URL  or probably shorten a lengthy link that you have got before sending it to a fellow?  DuckDuckGo is the real deal which is not going to fail you. Here is how to do that: type: ‘expand the shortened url’ without the quotation marks gives you the complete url of the shortened  url and ‘shortened the lengthy url’  shortens the lengthy url in the search box
