Default Configuration for All Networks: It Comes Handy Sometimes

I know that the dominance of android OS in the market has made things somehow easier. One does not need to configure any stuff. Once you put your sim card into an android device, it automatically configures it.


But there will be some issues when you will still need the configuration of the sim you are using.






MTN

Access Point Name: MTN or any name you wish(it really does not matter)
apn: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Proxy or IP address: 010.199.212.002
Password: web
Username: web
Port:8080

There are other elements, but they don't really count. Just leave them the way you see them.

Etisalat
Access Point Name: Etisalat or any name you wish(it really does not matter)
apn: etisalat
Proxy or IP address: 010.071.170.005
Password: wap
Username: wap
Port: 8080

Airtel

Access Point Name: Airtel or any name you wish (it really does not matter)
apn: internet.ng.airtel.com
Proxy or IP address: 172.018.254.005
Password: internet
Username: internet
Port: 8080

Glo


Account Name: GLO or any name you wish (it really does not matter)

Username: wap
