Adblock+ Fights Facebook: This is a Cat and Mouse Battle

On Tuesday, after Facebook found a way to bypass ad blocker on the desktop view, allowing ads to be shown regardless of the active ad blocker, Ad Block+ found a way to retaliate Facebook move.

Adblock plus found a workaround against the move by Facebook, another time letting Ads to be blocked on Facebook saying that Facebook took a  "dark path against user choice."

Days later, Facebook started rolling out their own update against AdBlock plus that will make ads present on desktop view regardless of the active Ad Blocker.

Facebook reports that the workaround by AdBlock plus to its ad-block bypass did not only block ads, but also users' content.

"We're disappointed that ad-blocking companies are punishing people on Facebook as these new attempts don't just block ads but also posts from friends and Pages," Facebook said in a statement to TechCrunch.

We will know who wins
