Well, Twitter just recently decided to add an update.
Twitter now allows you to upload up to 15MB gif file. Though this feature is
now on all platforms, just on the web platform, it is worth trying out. There
official announcement of this update. It is just on their Help Center page.
This
is a welcome feature, but you still need to stick to 5MB limit if you are using
a smartphone to upload.
Twitter has been recently loosening some of its restrictions
and this recent feature happens to be one of them. Before now, it increased
video length from 6 seconds to 140 seconds. It also stopped polls, images and
usernames as being part of the 140-character limit.
Now, the question is do you think this update is really
