[Android] Hide Your Photos from the Gallery

Have you ever wanted a photo to be private? By that I mean you don’t want it to appear on your android phone’s gallery. Sometimes privacy is very important.

So this tutorial will guide you on how to go about making your photo or photos not to appear on your gallery.




 Follow these steps:

1. Create a folder in your file manager where you will put the photos you wish to hide from your gallery. 

Call it any name.

2. Move the photos into the folder you created.



Prefix the  the folder name with a dot and it automatically goes off from your gallery.


 The folder automatically becomes hidden. To get the folder back tap on you Option and use the show hidden files.
